Main Osh Bazaar bus station is the central hub for marshrutkas. Reach any part of the city from here.
Yandex Go app backs up Namba. Cashless payment. Two apps, zero hassle.
Common Scams to Avoid
Unofficial 'porters' inside the arrivals hall grab bags from travelers and then demand inflated fees for carrying them to the curb. Politely refuse any unsolicited help, keep hold of your luggage, and use the official baggage trolleys that are free inside the terminal.
Taxi touts at the exit quote prices in U.S. dollars or euros that are several times the local metered fare, often claiming the official taxi desk is closed. Walk past them to the marked taxi desk inside the terminal or order a ride through the airport's official app counters kiosks.
Currency-exchange booths just outside customs advertise 'no commission' but use a deliberately poor rate without showing the calculation on-screen. Compare the offered rate against the mid-market figure on your phone and, if it's unfavorable, change only a small amount and use an ATM or a city-center bank later.
