October slides into full autumn. Expect highs of 18°C (65°F) and lows of 5°C (42°F). Rain doubles to 38mm. First snow often powders the peaks above Bishkek by month's end. Days stay pleasant. Nights bite. Bring a warm layer.
November drags the city into late autumn. Highs barely touch 10°C (50°F) and lows flirt with 0°C (31°F). Precipitation totals 46mm, arriving as cold rain or early snow. The mountains look fierce under fresh white. Higher hiking routes shut down.
December is Bishkek in full winter. Highs reach only 4°C (40°F) and lows sink to -5°C (22°F). Roughly 38mm of precipitation falls, mostly as snow. Streets quieten. Locals retreat indoors. Covered bazaars and steamy teahouses become essential refuges.
